Cottonwood Farms

This weekend we went to pick out a pumpkin at Cottonwood Farm in Boulder. It was a cute little farm with hay-rides and a corn maze, as well as a huge selection of pumpkins. Amberlin had a BLAST!! Nana came with us and we made some really great memories!

Family Photo!

Our Pumpkin!

And the one we picked up at the patch, too...

Enjoying the hay ride

Navigating the corn maze with Daddy...

A little bit distracted by all of the cool corn ears laying around!

We made it out of the maze!

A cool steam tractor that they had on site. It has a train-like whistle that Amberlin loved!

Amberlin would have stayed here if we had let her. She REALLY loved it. We can't wait to go back next year!

How much fun and how adorable. I just wish we could have been along. These will be some of your most fun memories. This and Christmas tree hunting. The boys used to take so much time and care in choosing just the right pumpkin. It had to be almost too heavy for them to pick up on their own. And it had to be the perfect height or fatness. And had to have one potentially flat side for the carving of their drawing to go on. Then scooping out the brains was always a treat and baking the pumpkin seeds. They also loved the haystack tunnels. One year the batman capes stayed out all year long for dress up and they of course were put to good use for the maze and fighting the "pumpkin bandits" Watch out, before you know it she'll be picking out pumpkins for her little one.
Love Ya,
Aunt LeeAnn
