Our Sunday

Sunday was a fun, kick-back day. We went to church in the morning. It was so fun to be able to bring Blythe with us. I feel like church is when we're around most of the special people in our life, so it was great to be able to introduce Blythe to so many of them and have her as a part of that. Amberlin was a bit sleepy afterwards, so she enjoyed some cuddle time with her Auntie...

After lunch at Portillo's we went to my parents house to spend a little bit of time with them. Amberlin was being a ham, so we got some great pics...

Sunday evening we drove out to Huntington Beach for dinner and dessert at Duke's. Our favorite!!

After dinner we took a stroll along the pier. It's always so beautiful at night.

Auntie Blythe

This week Amberlin got to meet her Auntie Blythe.


We had a lovely visit with Andy's sister over the past week. She flew in on Wednesday, the 22nd and left early this morning. We already miss her! We're so thankful that she was able to come and spend the week with us. The trip was a gift from Dad & Mom to celebrate the completion of her Master's Degree (Congrats, Blythe! We're so proud of you!). I think it was more of a gift for us than it was for her, though!

First thing was first... we had to stop at In 'n' Out for a burger!


Then we headed home to rest a little bit. Blythe had a long day of travel with the jet lag and the time difference. Amberlin loved having her around!

We did a lot of fun stuff while she was here. It will take a few posts to cover it all, but here is a start... these are a few photos from the beach trip we took with Staci and Tanya.

Fourth of July, Part 1

There will be quite a few more pictures coming once I get Dad's photos, but here are a few pics and a video from our Independence Day celebration. We went to Uncle Rick and Aunt Jane's house this year and Amberlin got into the pool for the first time! The water was pretty cold, but once she got used to it she had a great time!
