Christmas

We celebrated Christmas here in California this year. It was a difficult one because it is the first year that we have been without Grandpa, but we have a big loving, supportive family and we are all getting through it together! We celebrated Christmas Eve with a service at Lifespring!, followed by family time at Grandma Noani's and then Christmas day we spent with Mom and Dad. My favorite thing about Christmas is family time, and we got lots of it! Last year Dad was still deployed at this time, so it was an extra-special celebration this year with him here. I am posting a slideshow with photos from the events (above).

Hooray! I was able to access your new BLOG, see the slideshow, and...hopefully...post this comment. I agree with you about loving Christmas. Some years are hard. We lost our neice, Sheila, this year and her absence was sorely felt during the holidays. But, most important, Jesus was there. Always faithful. Makes me realize how very precious each opportunity to be with family and friends really truly is.
Love you both, Kathy
